The movie “Alien: Romulus” premieres in Brazilian cinemas this Thursday (15). The production is part of the franchise started by Ridley Scott in 1979 and directed by the Uruguayan filmmaker Fede Alvarez (“The Evil Dead” and “Millennium: The Girl in the Spider’s Web”).
The new title is set between “Alien: The Eighth Passenger” (1979) and “THEliens: The Rescue” (1986). In the plot, a group of young people search a deactivated space station, hoping to find the technology necessary to leave their doomed planet behind, but they end up involuntarily awakening the most terrifying organism in the universe.
The film stars Cailee Spaeny (“Civil War“) David Jonsson (“Industry“), Archie Renaux (“Shadow and Bone”), Isabella Merced (“Dora and the Lost City of Gold”) and Spike Fearn (“Tell Me Everything”).
