A Netflix reacted after the gymnast’s documentary Simone Biles come to light on social media. This Monday (5), the production was mentioned on X, the old Twitter, after the American was overtaken by the Brazilian Rebecca Andrade during the artistic gymnastics floor final in Paris.
Since the beginning of the 2024 Olympic Games the documentary “The Return of Simone Biles” from Netflix, is the target of jokes, as a film crew follows the American gymnast to capture images for the new episodes, which should make up the second part of the series. The first two episodes are already available.
After Rebeca beat Biles this Monday (5), the subject became popular again and several internet users questioned whether the streaming “was filming”, making the topic one of the most talked about subjects on X.
The platform’s Brazilian profile, in turn, joined in the fun and responded: “Filming and crying,” in reference to the gold medal. On Instagram, Netflix Brazil also wrote: “For those who were asking… I filmed everything.”
