Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke on Tuesday (27) with Kaid Farhan Al-Qadi, a Hamas hostage who was rescued by Israeli troops.
Kaid Farhan Al-Qadi, an Israeli-Bedouin citizen, was rescued from a tunnel in the southern Gaza Strip by Israeli forces, a military spokesman for the country told CNN.
Netanyahu congratulated Al-Qadi and told him that the entire people of Israel were moved by his release.
The prime minister also made it clear that he will continue to do everything he can to rescue the hostages still held in the Gaza Strip.
“We are working tirelessly to return all our hostages. We are doing this in two main ways: negotiations and rescue operations,” he stressed.
“Both [maneiras] together they demand our military presence on the ground and constant military pressure on Hamas. We will continue to act until we bring them all home,” Netanyahu said.
