THE Benjamin Netanyahu stated today that the Israel will not withdraw its forces from the Gaza Strip nor will it free thousands of Palestinians held in high security prisons in Israel, fending off media reports of some terms of a possible ceasefire agreement with Hamas.
In remarks broadcast by Israeli television, Netanyahu added: “We will not end this war unless all of its goals are achieved. That means eliminating Hamas, returning all our hostages and ensuring that Gaza is no longer a threat to Israel.”
For his part, its general secretary Islamic JihadZiad al-Nakhla, said in a statement today that the organization will not engage in any deals involving Israeli hostages without ensuring a comprehensive ceasefire and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip.
