Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with British Chancellor David Cameron and German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock in Jerusalem.
Netanyahu’s office said the prime minister thanked the two for “their governments’ unequivocal support and the countries’ stand in an unprecedented defense against Iran’s attack on the State of Israel.”
But Netanyahu said Israel would make its own security decisions.
“I want to be clear – we will make our own decisions and the State of Israel will do whatever is necessary to defend itself,” he said, according to a statement released by his office.
Fighting in Gaza
Netanyahu also addressed the humanitarian aid going to Gaza and the continued fighting.
“The prime minister rejected the allegations of international organizations of famine in Gaza and said that Israel goes further on humanitarian issues,” Netanyahu’s office added.
On Tuesday (16), at least 13 people died, including seven children, and more than 25 were injured after an attack that hit the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, according to officials at the Al Martyrs Hospital. -Aqsa.
Images filmed by CNN from inside Al-Aqsa Hospital Martyrs show a continuous stream of victims and injured people being carried away, while the emergency room is packed with patients, including several injured children, screaming on the floor. Relatives are seen crowding over the bodies and crying.
A CNN contacted the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to seek deployment, but has not yet received a response.
