Netanyahu insists on a military operation in Rafah: Civilians will have the opportunity to leave

THE Benjamin Netanyahu pledged tonight that the military operation in Rafa will start after enabling thecivilians to leave this city on the southern edge of the Gaza Strip.

We will fight until total dominance, which also includes taking strong action in Rafah after we allow the civilian population to leave the battlefield,” Netanyahu said in a message on the Telegram platform.

About 1.4 million Palestinians are crowded into Rafah, according to UN figures, as this city has turned into a huge camp for displaced people. Rafa, as reported by APE-MPE. it is the only major urban center in the Gaza Strip where the Israeli military has not launched a large-scale operation since the war against Hamas began.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas today called on Hamas to quickly conclude a ceasefire agreement to release hostages to prevent an attack on Rafah that would “cause thousands of casualties”.
