Netanyahu again requires nuclear infrastructure dismantling from Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu again asked for Iran’s nuclear nuclear infrastructure to be dismantled, while Washington and Tehran are involved in negotiations for a nuclear agreement.

The United States and Iran have so far conducted three rounds of indirect negotiations, mediated by the Oman’s government, with the aim of closing an agreement that prevented Tehran from acquiring a nuclear weapon but also suspending the economic sanctions imposed by Washington.

After conversations in Rome earlier this month, Oman said the US and Iran were seeking an agreement that would see Tehran “completely free” of nuclear weapons and sanctions, but “maintaining their ability to develop peaceful nuclear energy.”

Netanyahu said the only “good deal” would be one that removed “all the infrastructure” similar to the 2003 agreement that Libya made with the West, who saw renouncing its nuclear, chemical, biological and missile programs.

Israeli authorities for a long time promised to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons, a statement repeated by Netanyahu.
