Last Friday (24), the Roraima Civil Police arrested the two nephews of the state governor, Antonio Denarium, during an operation by the Narcotics Repression Police Station (DRE) and Denarc (Department of Narcotics). The case took place in the west zone of the capital Boa Vista.
With the two, the police seized 75 kilos of skunk, considered “super marijuana”, weapons and ammunition. They were arrested in the act and will face charges of drug trafficking and association with drug trafficking, in addition to illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.

Civil Police investigations began after the seizure of 70 kg of skunk on a farm, close to the Água Boa stream, in the rural area of Boa Vista.
Trader Fabrício de Souza Almeida was identified by authorities as the owner of the skunk cargo. Another man, who was not located, would also have been involved.
On Friday (24), the agents began accompanying Fabrício Almeida, divided into three teams.
He was approached in the warehouse of a marble factory in the Pintolândia neighborhood, in addition, the police also found a rifle and a .357 revolver, as well as ammunition.
Antonio Olivério Garcia Bispo, who was at the scene, ended up arrested, accused of being responsible for storing the weapons.
The General Delegate of the Civil Police, Darlinda de Moura Viana, emphasized that despite the detainees having indirect links with the family of Governor Antonio Denarium, he does not interfere in the application of the law, ensuring that the Civil Police of Roraima will continue to investigate and punish any activity criminal, regardless of who is involved.
When contacted, the governor's advisor said he “reaffirms his position against any type of illegal acts” and that “he defends the rigorous investigation of all facts related to the case presented by the Civil Police of Roraima, within the legality”
“If the investigation confirms the occurrence of crimes, the governor expects those responsible to be punished with the rigor of the Law”, he concluded.
