After facing postpartum complications, Nara, the influencer’s girlfriend Toguro was discharged on Monday (11) and spoke, for the first time, after giving birth to her first child, Gael.
“Today, September 11th, I have the honor and grace to say that I was discharged here at Maternidade Santa Joana. I’m released and I’m very surprised and emotional about everything that happened these days. They were very intense days”, said Nara at the beginning of the published video.
“But my recovery surprised the entire hospital because it was so quick. In less than a week, I managed to go through everything I went through and still be discharged. I am 100% free, with just some oral medications,” said Nara. “I’m with my baby, he’s 100% fine too, thank God,” she said.
Nara took the opportunity to thank her fans for their love. “I am very happy and very grateful to each one of you who put my name in your prayer, who put faith in my recovery. I know that God gave me a new life: on September 6th I was reborn”, said the model, stating that later on she will report on the birth.
Furthermore, the influencer thanked the maternity team. “Of course, thank you to the team that saved me, my birth team, the Santa Joana team; They gave their all to save me. If I weren’t in this hospital the chances would be critical, I might not even be here anymore. So I chose the right hospital (…) I really wanted to have my son here and I was right”, assured Nara.
“I believe that God has a purpose for everything and God gave me a new opportunity to be my Gael’s mother. My faith has brought me here once again. I really believe in God and I know that He did all this for a reason that I will understand later on”, he concluded.
Toguro celebrates his first night with his family at home
Tiago Toguro also shared the moment with his Instagram followers. “Photon! He will sleep well because he knows he is protected. 7am and the boy is online,” he wrote. In the image, Gael appears lying on his chest.
Toguro cites possible medical error
On Saturday (9), Toguro used his social networks to say that he asked lawyers to evaluate the possibility of medical error in Gael’s birth.
“My legal department is analyzing the case, investigating the information to see what measures will be taken so that we do not commit injustices before accusing or blaming someone, trying to individualize conduct”, began the clarification note published on Instagram.
Also according to the published note, the hospital will be notified legally to provide the medical records from Nara’s admission to medical discharge.
Wanted by CNN Santa Joana Hospital and Maternity reported that all procedures to which the patient was subjected during her hospitalization followed protocols established by medical literature and the conduct adopted was consistent with the clinical picture presented.
