The singer Nahim, who died at the age of 71 two weeks ago, had made a list of requests to his family, informing how he wanted to be buried . In a video published on the artist’s official networks this Wednesday (26), he appears with a good-humored tone and doing unusual demands for the farewell ceremony.
According to the publication, the statement was recorded on December 27, 2018, more than five years ago. “He treated death with joy. Was happy. And it was just the way he asked,” says the caption.
In the images, the singer declares: “The burial of Nahim, which is me, Nahim Jorge Elias Júnior. Flowers are not allowed. You can bring your dog, your cat, your pet. The coffin must be on the ground. Without flowers, flowers are not allowed.”
“It’s this: it starts in São Paulo with all my puppies and then comes to Miguelópolis, where I will be buried next to my mother, my father, my grandparents. And the party at the cemetery, they can only bury me after 10pm, which is quiet time. At 10pm, it’s over, so you put me there”, continued the singer.
Nahim also joked that he would like some speakers to be placed in his coffin. “I would like someone to put some speakers in the coffin so that, even after he is buried, the rock music will continue down there. I want an American coffin, not a Brazilian one. A nice one, with sound.”
“I don’t want anyone crying, for the love of God, first because I’m going to a good place. If I’m going with sunglasses, that’s already good enough,” he continued.
Finally, the artist spoke about the outfit he would like to wear: a Corinthians shirt and white shorts. “White shorts and blue shirt. Ah, the Corinthians shirt, of course. The Corinthians shirt is essential, from my powerful Timão”.
“I would like, if possible, for Praça Vinicius de Moraes to become Praça do Nahim. You will be able to transform the square that I take care of with all my dogs into Praça do Nahim”, he concluded. Check it out below.

Nahim’s body was found in his house, located in Taboão da Serra, in São Paulo, in the early hours of June 13. He was laid to rest in the early hours of Friday (14) in an open ceremony at the Legislative Assembly of São Paulo (Alesp).
