N. Iliopoulos: Greeks pay the most expensive gasoline in Europe

The Fuel Price Observatory of the European Commission places Greece in the negative lead of the country in Europe with the most expensive gasoline, emphasizes the press representative of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance, Nasos Iliopoulos, in his on camera statement. “There is no negative record that the Mitsotakis government has not broken,” he adds.

Noting that “the meager gas coupon was just another mockery”, Nasos Iliopoulos underlines: “Mr. Mitsotakis must come out of his glass tower, he cannot understand that the citizens do not make ends meet, do not live richly like him and his friends”.

“On the contrary, because of it they pay the highest price in all of Europe,” he concludes.

The full statement follows

“There is no negative record that the Mitsotakis government has not broken.

Today, the Fuel Price Observatory of the European Commission, gave Greece as the country with the most expensive gasoline in Europe, at a time when it has much lower wages than most European countries.

What does this mean;

That the state not only does not deal with the obscene profit of private individuals, but also makes excess profits from this obscene profit. With the government refusing to reduce excise duty, it ended up with a surplus of 3.6 billion in the six months.

It means the meager gas coupon was just another joke.

It means that Mr. Mitsotakis must come out of his glass tower. He fails to understand that the citizens do not get by, do not live richly like he and his friends. On the contrary, because of it they pay the highest price in all of Europe”
