Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi today, on the sidelines of the 55th Session of the “ASEAN” (Association of South – East Asian Nations) organization hosted in Cambodia.
The Foreign Ministers of Greece and China both underlined the need to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states, as highlighted in a post by N. Dendias on a social networking site.
During the meeting, Nikos Dendias and Wang Yi discussed Greek-Chinese relations in light of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, with an emphasis on trade, investment, tourism and culture. In addition, the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean and Cyprus was discussed.
