MSI motherboards with AMD X370 and AMD B350 chipsets now support AMD Ryzen 5000 processors

MSI has released new BIOS versions for motherboards based on AMD 300 series chipsets. They include two key innovations – support for Windows 11 and support for AMD Ryzen 5000 (Vermeer) processors. However, it should be noted that not all representatives of the extensive line of CPUs and APUs are supported. For example, Ryzen 5000G (Cezanne) APUs are not supported.

As you can see, the list does not include motherboards based on A320 chipsets, but Asus and Gigabyte have already provided the corresponding support for them, and we now expect the same from MSI. Moreover, AMD’s Vermeer-X processors, which will debut in January, replacing the current Ryzen 5000, are also reported to be supported by motherboards based on AMD 300 series chipsets. But the corresponding BIOS updates will be released much later than the processors themselves.
