Tejada was the top scorer in the history of the Panamanian national team with 43 goals in 108 appearances, while in 2018 he was a member of the squad that reached the World Cup in Russia.
He played for several teams, including Toluca, America Cali, Veracruz and Real Salt Lake, while he retired in 2022 from the stadiums, as reported by the Athens Agency.
