A heroic mother from Ohio, USA, died trying to save her son’s life when a thief tried to steal the car in which her six-year-old son was sleeping. Alexa Stuckley, 29, a speech therapist by profession, jumped on the hood of the vehicle as the thief tried to escape but ran into her at speed and suffered fatal injuries. Police said the mother had put her sleeping boy in the Honda but returned to the nanny’s apartment to get something. That’s when the thief got into her car, which was on, and drove off, WSYX reports. Stuckley chased after the attacker and tried to stop him before he threw himself at the car. The suspect fled the scene on foot and has not yet been arrested, according to the Daily Mail.
