The Moscow Poly presented an interesting development at the opening of the Army-2021 military-technical forum – an electric unmanned bus designed for park areas.

The developers call the car “Smart Shuttle”. It can recognize objects, signs and lead the way thanks to special software and sensors – cameras, radars, global positioning systems and ultrasonic sensors.

The electric drone is designed for four passengers. As conceived by the developers, the drone can be used as a sightseeing bus to travel along various predetermined routes pre-mapped in the system. The vehicle has a power reserve of 140 km. Also, a smart shuttle can provide transportation of visitors to remote areas of parks.

You can track the filling of the cabin and the correct placement of passengers. This allows you to remotely check and control the safety of passengers. Closed wheel arches are separately noted, which makes the design safer, as well as compact dimensions that increase maneuverability.

At the moment, specialists from the Moscow Poly are developing a computer vision system that allows you to move around the territory without using a global positioning system.
