Moscow demands that Kiev hand over the head of the Ukrainian security service

Russia is demanding that Ukraine hand over all people linked to terrorist acts committed in Russia, including the head of the country's Ukrainian SBU security service, the Russian Foreign Ministry said this afternoon. “Russia has handed over to the Ukrainian authorities its demands…. for the immediate arrest and extradition of all those connected with said terrorist acts,” the ministry's statement said, listing violent incidents in the country. The ministry's statement said among those Kiev must hand over to Russia is SBU chief Vasyl Maliuk, who admitted his agency was behind attacks on the bridge linking Crimea with the Russian mainland since its invasion Kremlin in Ukraine in February 2022.
