Moscow blames Ukraine and the West for the attack on writer Prilepin

Russia today accused the countries of the West and “primarily” the United States for their responsibility, according to Moscow, in the “terrorist attacks” committed by Ukraine on its territory, after the explosive attack on the car of the nationalist writer Zakhar Prilepinin which the Russian writer was injured and his driver was killed.

“Responsibility for this terrorist attack and others lies not only with the Ukrainian authorities but also with its Western patrons, primarily the United States,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, adding that “the silence of the relevant international organizations is unacceptable ».

The statement said Washington’s failure to report this and other attacks is “self-revealing” for the US government.
