Due to the rise in prices, Brazilian workers are losing purchasing power over the last 12 months. This is the finding of a survey carried out by the National Confederation of Trade in Goods, Services and Tourism (CNC).
According to the survey, 91% of the professions in the country had a lower readjustment than inflation and, consequently, a drop in the average monthly remuneration.
In practice, the survey indicates that 128 of the 140 main Brazilian professions registered a salary drop in the last year.
The CNC study was based on official data from the General Registry of Employed and Unemployed (Caged) of the Ministry of Labor. And, on top of the numbers obtained, he discounted the inflation of the last 12 months, which reached 11.9%, according to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).

Among them are the operational controllers of industries, commercial managers and systems development analysts. The rise in these professions was 8%, 3% and 1%, respectively.
