Right destination for lovers of winter , Monte Verde (MG) will have a rich cultural program during the “Winter in the Mountains” which will take place in July, with free dance and music performances every Saturday.
The expectation is to receive 200 thousand tourists during the month in the district, elected for the second year in a row one of the most welcoming tourist destinations in Brazil, in the Traveler Review Awards, from the Booking platform.
The “Winter in the Mountains” program will open this Saturday (1st) with a dance performance by the ABMV (Monte Verde Beneficent Association) ballet group at 2 pm. Two musical attractions complete the program: the singer and composer Francis Rosa, at 3 pm, and the group Os Catireiros da Mantiqueira, at 5 pm.
On the 8th, at 3 pm, there will be a performance by the Paulistana and Camanducaiense de Viola Caipira orchestras.
On the 15th, jazz takes over Avenida Monte Verde with a performance by the New Orleans Jazz Band, starting at 3 pm. Irish music will also feature in the program with the presentation of the Oran Band, which will be accompanied by the performance of dancers from Companhia Celta Brasil, on the 22nd, at 3 pm.
Closing “Winter in the Mountains”, on the 29th, Monte Verde hosts the Amantikir Festival Circuit, an event that takes the universe of jazz, blues and MIB (Brazilian Instrumental Music) to the cities around the region of the majestic Serra da Mantiqueira.
