Non, you probably won’t be able to buy yourself a convertible for 30 euros. But you can always try! As every year, in Monaco, the Estate Administration sorts the pound and puts abandoned vehicles up for auction. For four wheels, of various brands, the minimum starting offer is 30 euros, reports Nice morning. For two wheels, the first auction will be 15 euros. Each vehicle will go to the highest bidder. This year, because of the coronavirus, auctions will be done only by mail.
To place a bid on a vehicle, the list of which is available on the Monegasque government website, you must complete the form, also available on the site and send it to the following address: 24, rue du Gabian, 98014 Monaco Cedex . A letter box is also available on site.
For those who wish, it is possible to go and see the vehicles offered for sale, from Monday 8 to Friday 12 March, at the pound (3 rue des Guelfes). Auctions must be placed no later than March 19 at 12 noon.
The winners will then be contacted directly by the Administration des Domaines within three months. Note that anyone can participate, regardless of their place of residence.
