The model Bruno Krupp was arrested in the act after being involved in a traffic accident on Saturday (30). A police inquiry was launched to investigate the case and the practice of intentional homicide in traffic.
This Wednesday (3), the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro (TJ-RJ) decreed the preventive detention of the influencer.
According to court records, he was driving a motorcycle around 10:50 pm when he ran over 16-year-old João Gabriel Cardin Guimarães, on Avenida Lucio Costa, Barra da Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro. The young man was in a crosswalk.
Both were taken to Lourenço Jorge Hospital, but Guimarães could not resist his injuries and died on Sunday (31). Krupp had bruises and was detained at the health complex.
“In fact, in view of all the compilation, it is observed that the Defendant took the risk of causing the result, behold, he was driving a motorcycle without a license plate, at high speed (more than 150 km/h, on a road whose maximum speed limit is speed of 60km/h), without having a driver’s license, even after have been caught in a blitz three days before the accident “, says part of the decision.
When he was stopped at the blitz, according to the court, Krupp was riding the same bike — no license plate — and refused to take a breathalyzer test.
Also according to the Justice, a witness helped the victim and confirmed that the motorcycle was speeding. The teenager’s mother witnessed the hit-and-run and does not have “psychological conditions” to give a statement, which will be done when possible.
The model has also been accused of embezzlement in 2021 and rape in 2022.
FBX advisory, which manages the influencer, said it would not comment on the case.
