A military police officer was killed this Thursday afternoon (12), after an attempted robbery in the Méier neighborhood, in the north of Rio de Janeiro.
He was passing through Rua 24 de Maio and was with his daughter, on a motorcycle, when he was approached by bandits. The police officer was assigned to the 23rd BPM (Leblon) and had just left the service.
The agent and his daughter were shot by the criminals. The two were taken to the Salgado Filho Municipal Hospital, which is also in Méier. But the military police officer did not resist and died. His daughter is out of danger.
The Capital Homicide Police Station (DHC) is investigating the case.
