As of March 18, the company held 214,246 BTC on its balance sheet, worth a total of $7.53 billion, which were purchased at an average price of $35,160.
The company last purchased an additional 12,000 BTC for $821 million between February 26 and March 10.
On the night of March 19, the price of Bitcoin dropped below $63,000. Also on the same day, MicroStrategy completed the placement of convertible bonds in the amount of $603.75 million.
At the time of writing, the first cryptocurrency is trading just above $64,000.
