The 2nd edition of Michelin Argentina Guide It was revealed on the night of Monday (7). All previously starry restaurants maintained their distinctions, but three new addresses were recognized with a star . They are scattered in Buenos Aires and Mendoza.
In all, the Current Selection of the Michelin Argentina Guide brings together 80 establishments among starry restaurants, restaurants with green star, restaurants on the Bib Gourmand list and recommended houses. Of this total, 56 are in Buenos Aires and another 24 in Mendoza, the capital of Argentine wine.
From the list, a total of 10 restaurants have stars. THE Aramburu Portene Restaurant of Chef Gonzalo Aramburu, is the only one in the national team with two Michelin stars, a distinction given in 2023 in the first edition of the guide, which was maintained.
New restaurants starring the Michelin Guide
Three new restaurants in Argentina were decorated with A Michelin Star . One is in Buenos Aires and the other two are in Mendoza.
In the capital, the list entered the list Crizia in the Palermo region. The house is described by the guide as sophisticated and intimate. Behind the kitchen is the chef and owner Gabriel Oggero which cultivates a relationship with small producers and fishermen. The menu mixes earth and sea with raw materials that pass through the fire, resulting in different tasting menus.
Already in Mendoza, the Angelica Cocina Maestra within the award -winning winery Catena Zapata is another news with the first star. The restaurant puts the wine as a central piece – not just as a complement to food. To this end, the labels are harmonized with tasting menus that can enhance and balance what is served. The dishes carry local products and ingredients and leave the hands of chefs Josefina Diana and Juan Manuel Feijoo .
Finally, another address of Mendoza entered the guide with a star. This is RICCITELLI BISTRO who already held a green star. It is inside the Riccitelli Wines winery, headed by winemaker Matias Riccitelli, who settled in Luján de Cuyo after experiments with Salta altitude wines. In the bistro, the chef Juan Ventureyra Elaborates menus of different steps focused on protein and ingredients of the organic garden of property.
Green Stars and Bib Gourmand

Green stars, which indicate commitment to sustainable practices from the ambiance of the house to the composition of the menu, have been distributed to three new restaurants. With additions, the number of Argentine restaurants with green stars rose to 10.
The new houses with green stars are:
- Alkanfor in Buenos Aires, led by chef Julián Galende in the neighborhood of Villa Crespo, which serves seasonal dishes. The house focuses on plant -based creations and adopts principles of recycling;
- Angelica Cocina Maestra in Mendoza, which, in addition to the first star, also received the green star because of the ingredients from the organic garden, where unchanged seeds are cultivated and there is an effort to compensate for the carbon footprint;
- Believing in Mendoza, inside the Susana Balbo winery, where chef Flavia Amad di Leo uses organic vegetables of the garden and local partners.
In addition to the stars, the Bible Gourmand list, which celebrates cost-effective restaurants and good kitchen, has also increased. Three restaurants in Buenos Aires entered the selection, expanding the final list to 10 houses.
The three new Bib Gourmand restaurants are: Acid ; Black Ajo – Tapas Sea ; and the Mn Santa Inés .
Special Awards
Two special awards were distributed during the ceremony. THE Young Chef Award went to Nicolás Tykocki from Acid, in Buenos Aires, who has just joined the Bib Gourmand list. The professional is only 27 years old and drinks from creative influences from other places, such as Korean, Chinese, Lebanese, Turkish, Spanish and American kitchens.
Already the Sommelier Award of the year went to the duo Elena Fernanda Cabrera and Leonel Ismael Castro Ortiz from Trescha, also in Buenos Aires – the restaurant already has a Michelin star. The proposed labels range from champagne to Argentine wines, which harmonize with the inventive kitchen of chef Tomás Treschanski.
