O Michelin Guide officially revealed its first selection of restaurants in Argentina this Friday (24) and distributed stars for seven houses in Buenos Aires and Mendoza . Only one of the restaurants received two Michelin stars, while the other six were awarded one.
O Aramburu , in the capital Buenos Aires, was the house awarded two stars. Located in Recoleta, the chef Gonzalo Aramburu serves contemporary Argentine cuisine in which seasonality and pairing sum up the experience along with a gastronomic journey between 16 and 18 times.
Already the competitor Don Julio , the most famous parrilla in the country, is among the houses that received a Michelin star. The restaurant in Palermo led by Pablo Rivero also received a green star, which recognizes restaurants that incorporate sustainable practices into their day-to-day work.
