A frontal collision between a car and a trailer left four people dead and six wounds on the Régis Bittencourt highway (BR 116). The accident occurred on Sunday morning (26), at the time of Mathias Lobato (MG).
The collision took place at km 385 of the road, between the municipalities of Governador Valadares and Friar Innocent. According to the Fire Department, the trailer collided on the side of a car. Given this, the truck lost control and collided head -on with another vehicle.
Four people in the car died from the collision. Among the dead is a 1 year and 2 month baby.
All victims were sent by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) to a hospital unit in Mathias Lobato.
