Japanese public company Metaplanet bought more 107,913 BTC for 1 billion yen ($6.9 million).
The average transaction price was 9.26 million yen ($64,168) per bitcoin. The company’s total coin stock reached 506,745 BTC ($32.2 million). They spent 4.75 billion yen with an average cost of 9.37 million yen ($64,931).
The company’s shares rose 1.72% over the past 24 hours.

Metaplanet has been actively investing in the first cryptocurrency over the past few months. In September, its reserves approached 400 BTC.
In August, the CEO of the Japanese company, Simon Gerovich, called for “always accumulating Bitcoin.” Metaplanet also uses borrowed capital for investments.
In April, the company announced the transfer of funds to digital gold. Then in a letter to investors, she explained the decision by the constant weakening of the yen as a result of the policy of negative rates.
