“Cyprus and Greece we insist on respecting international law. A key pillar of ensuring peace and security in our region,” says the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Anastasiadis, in a post on Twitter.
Mr. Anastasiadis earlier met at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia with the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, who is on a working visit to Cyprus.
“With my friend, Foreign Minister N. Dendias, we discussed the actions needed to deal with Turkish revisionism in Cyprus and the Aegean,” notes the Cypriot President in his post.
Afterwards, the Foreign Minister of Greece spoke at the annual Summit of the Heads of Diplomatic Missions of the Republic of Cyprus, while according to the program, a meeting with his Cypriot counterpart Ioannis Kasoulidis, extended talks and statements to the press follow.
