Mel B revealed that all five Spice Girls are “definitely working on something together.” The 48-year-old singer admitted she might “get in trouble” for publicizing plans for a reunion of the '90s icons, but confirmed she has a project in the works.
The possible reunion with bandmates Mel C, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner (formerly Halliwell) and Victoria Beckham would be to mark the group's 30th anniversary this year.
“I'm a chatterbox. I get scolded all the time for announcing things I shouldn't. But what I can say is that we are definitely working on something together – the five of us,” the star said in an interview with The Jennifer Hudson Show.
“And just by saying that, I’ll probably get in trouble again,” he joked.
Victoria has not performed with the group since the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
Mel didn't provide any further details about what they're planning, but did reflect on the past three decades.
“I was a Spice Girl at 17. I am old. I'm feeling old now. But it's amazing that we managed to stay friends. It's been 30 years. What you go through as a group keeps you together for the rest of your life, because it was a really crazy experience”, explained the muse.
