Meghan’s absence from Philip’s funeral was “good” for the royal family: the new revelations

Harry e Meghan still in the eye of the storm. On August 31, the 24th anniversary of Lady Diana’s death, the new one is released in the UK updated and expanded version of the biographical book “Finding Freedom”, co-written by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand (the first version was released last summer, in Italy under the title “Libertà”, for HarperCollins).

The biography of the Dukes of Sussex describes the meaning of relief of many members of the English royal house knowing that Meghan Markle was not going to Britain for the funeral of Philip of Edinburgh, Prince Consort of Queen Elizabeth, fearing possible “circus scenes and unpleasant shows”.

As known to most, in that period Meghan the era of love at Lilibet Diana and, on the advice of his attending physician, he had chosen not to take the flight, staying at home. Apparently, making his in-laws happy, fearful of his every action / public statement.

Still, in the new edition of “Finding Freedom” it turns out that Prince William said he was literally furious at the accusation of racism thrown by Harry and Meghan to an important (but unknown) member of the royal family. Again, before the controversial hyper media chat with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle would have been the victim of bullying perpetrated by a member of her staff (later removed). While Harry’s Royal British Legion red crown would never be delivered, which he was entitled to for his service as Captain General of the Royal Marines. Reason for non-recognition? Harry is no longer part of the royal family.

Finally, again according to the new pages of the book, Meghan and Harry would have celebrated their second wedding anniversary, on May of last year, taking takeaway mexican food in a take-away near home, in the face of those who accuse them of indulging in exaggerated luxuries.
