Megan Thee Stallion announces new album for later this month

Megan Thee Stallion announced, on Sunday night (2), that she will release a new album on June 28th. “MEGAN”, the name announced by the rapper, breaks a two-year hiatus in the singer’s career.

The news was told to fans during a show at the State Farm Arena, in Atlanta, and recorded by the audience there. The “Hot Summer Girl Tour” performances in the city were scheduled for Wednesday (30) and Thursday (31) and were postponed to Sunday (2) and Monday (3) due to a water supply failure in the region.

“Are you ready? My new album!”, said the singer, seconds before an art with the visual identity of the new project appeared on the arena screen accompanied by a release date.

Those present at the show had the opportunity to scan a QR Code offered by the singer's team and guarantee a pre-save of the album.

Megan Thee Stallion, who has hits like “Savage” and “Sweetest Pie”, continues with the North American part of the “Hot Summer Girl Tour” until June 23rd, when she performs in San Francisco, California. Then, she goes to Europe, where she performs until July 17th, in London.

There is also a closing show planned for the North American city of Washington, at the Broccoli City Festival.
