The team and family members of the singer MC Marcinho are mobilizing again in a campaign to donate all types of blood to the artist.
The information was shared this Tuesday afternoon (22), on the funkeiro’s official Instagram, author of classic hits.
“Our prince once again needs your help! If you can make your blood donation for this data, we will be forever grateful”, they wrote in the publication.
Shortly afterwards, singer Buchecha joined the campaign. “Friends, I ask for your help, please, we are campaigning again for our prince,” said the artist.
Gisa Garcia, Marcinho’s sister, also used social media to ask for donations. “I want to ask each one of you who can help us, to go and donate blood for him, because right now he really needs it”, she said.
New medical bulletin
In the last medical bulletin released to the press this Monday (21), the medical team explained that Marcinho maintains clinical stability, still requiring intensive care and breathing with the help of devices.
Hospitalized since June 27 at the Copa D’or Hospital, in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro, the musician has heart disease and chronic kidney disease.
In July, he suffered a cardiac arrest, requiring cardiac support by extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
Health history of MC Marcinho
The 45-year-old singer suffers from serious heart problems. In March of this year, the MC revealed that he was weakened and needed surgery to replace a pacemaker implanted since 2021.
At the time, the artist’s team reported that the procedure had been successful and the clinical picture was stable.
