Funk singer MC Carol got married this Sunday (7), in Rio de Janeiro, to Cosme Santiago, in a surprise ceremony for the guests.
On her Instagram, MC Carol posted photos from the ceremony with the caption: “We met 01/07/2023.
We got married 01/07/2024.”
Her husband, Cosme Santiago, is a former gay porn actor, known by his stage name San Bolt, due to his resemblance to the Jamaican runner.
On social media, friend and singer Tati Quebra Barraco revealed that the guests received an invitation to an opening party for MC Carol's new house. “When I got there, it was a wedding,” said Tati.
In her stories, she also shared the invitation sent to friends and family: “You are invited to the inauguration of our new house, because a tree destroyed the old house! You are subpoenaed! If you don’t come, I will understand that you were the tree’s accomplice!”
In another post, one of the guests shared a photo of a souvenir box of chocolates that said: “I believed this lie and now you are an accomplice! Welcome to my surprise wedding.”
The funk singer also shared videos in which she appears singing and dancing with her husband during the party, which was also attended by actress Elisa Lucinda.
In the comments, the singer's fans celebrated the union and wished the couple happiness.
