Prime Video shared a behind-the-scenes video from the filming of the second season of “Maxton Hall: The World Between Us” which began in June. The new episodes do not yet have a release date. The first season premiered in May of this year and became the most successful international original title in the streaming service’s history.
The production tells the story of two young students from different worlds, James Beaufort and Ruby Bell, who study at the same elite school in Europe. In the first season, the young people get closer after Ruby discovers a super secret from the Beaufort heiress, and her brother James tries to silence her. From the contact between the two, an almost forbidden romance is born, based on the social differences that separate them.
In the second season, a scam by the Beaufort family should get in the way of the romance between Ruby and James, a note from the streaming service anticipated.
The series is based on the best-selling book “Save Me” by Mona Kasten. The book is part of a trilogy: “Save Me”, “Save You” and “Save Us”, so the events of the season have already been written and there is more story to tell. The first book is expected to arrive in Brazil in October of this year.
