Married at first sight 12: the experts' ultimatum to Benedetta and Enrico is the turning point we deserved

It's about time the experts Marriage at first sight made their voices heard, especially because it had never happened that a couple refused to respect the process imposed by the program and took initiatives on their own. We are talking, of course, about the couple formed by Benedetta Campigli and Enrico Bonechi, who actually decided to give in to the first argument during their honeymoon, choosing to block both the knowledge and the experiment. Over the time the distance between them has increased increasingly to the point that, when other couples of Marriage at first sight they began the coexistence imposed by the format, they decided to remain in their positions. It was Enrico who looked for a meeting point, who nevertheless proposed to Benedetta that they try to live together as friends with the hope that they would clarify things and be able to have a good memory of their farewell, but the girl did not appear convinced. At this point – and thank goodness – Nada Loffredi and Andrea Favaretto chose to take the field, who took matters into their own hands trying to unblock that knot.

Leaving aside the fact that Benedetta has proven herself several times inconsistent with what he wants – first she complained that Enrico didn't talk about his problems with her and then, when he did, he said that those words were not constructive -, the first to speak was Andrea Favaretto, who defined the profoundly immature attitude of the couple: «You have agreed to take part in the experiment, which we know starts in one way and then is played out as the work progresses: we are not a marriage agency, and we have told you this several times. Then you arrive and, after just two days, you are certain that the other is not right for you”, said the expert Marriage at first sight before increasing the dose. «We don't know how to help you: you blame the other while you continue to have a victim attitude that is not appropriate. You keep telling yourself the “I'll try” story, and then you don't. There is no will on your part to do so”. At this point the dramatic coup fell to Nada Loffredi, who chose to abandon the confrontation with them because Benedetta and Enrico “ruined their work” and lost faith in the experiment. «Looking at you in recent weeks I asked myself: but what am I doing here? You are not asking for help because you have already made up your mind. I am ready to give my contribution, but only when there is trust again.”

Will this lecture be enough to unblock the situation? Of course not, since Benedetta chose not to accept Enrico's proposal and not to try the path of cohabitation because “I just can't with him”. «It's the first time something like this has happened», commented Favaretto, even if the attempt to try to stir things up was more than sacrosanct: in fact, it was time for the experts to Marriage at first sight they intervened and made the participants understand that, before signing up for a casting like that of the Real Time program, everything must be taken into account. Also that they may not like the person that others have chosen for them. Something that, in fact, is common to all the couples in this edition. Something, it must be said, however, seems to be moving between the other two couples: the one formed by Ilaria Spillari and Giuseppe Ravetti which, despite her doubts, she threw herself into a first passionate kiss on the Milanese Darsena, and the one formed by Fabio Rossi and Ilaria Zanolithe only ones in this round of Married at first sight aof having consummated the relationship. She is lost in love – “It's difficult to hold me back”, he even said in a confessional -, while he outlines and reiterates what he had confessed a few days earlier: he is not physically attracted to Ilaria. «His facial features block me»he reiterated once again, even if, right now, our hopes are all aimed at them.
