Mariana Goldfarb recalls anorexia: “I had no control of anything in life”

The model Mariana Goldfarb 35, spoke about the time when suffered from eating disorders At the beginning of his career during an interview with Wow magazine podcast.

“I just ate protein, I didn’t eat carbohydrate or the non -refined, because I was afraid that anything would put on weight,” she recalled. “I had an alcohol anorexia bulimia. And to plug that no anorexia hole, anorexia was just a symptom, I drank. I’ve had some episodes of vomiting everything on purpose.”

According to the model, the disorder was a way of trying to feel in control of his own body: “For me, anorexia came at a time that had no control of anything in my life, and the only thing I controlled was that. That I thought I controlled, right, because it has nothing to do.”

Goldfarb said he suffered intensely from this for about 6 or 7 months, until he decided to seek help and started to pass with a psychologist.

“It was very crazy, the thinner I was, the more campaign I closed. The thinner I was, the more loved I was,” he said. “We can say that we want power, whether fame, or money, but in fact, everyone wants to be loved, wants to be accepted.”

“When I received that flood of compliments through my external body, I was very sick, to give black roof at the gym, to fall to the floor after exercising, without any force,” she added.

Goldfarb also talked about the irresponsibility of influencers to show a body image that is not healthy in his networks. “I didn’t have this conscience at the time, but who is public has to have,” he said.
