Mari Fernandez released this Friday (26) the video for “Página de Ex”, a song released this Thursday. The EP is part of project “Mari No Barzinho Ao Vivo no RJ – Do Jeito Que O Povo Like”, which will feature four tracks .
In the initiative, the singer appears by surprise in bars and pubs in Brazilian cities and gives a performance to those present. “I remember where it all started: in the bar. It was where I came into contact with different musical styles, expanded my repertoire and gained the knowledge to do what I do today”, said Mari Fernandez in a press release.
The clip “Página de Ex” was recorded at the Boa Praça bar, in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. It shows scenes of the local public drinking and dancing and people passing by on the street interacting with the singer's performance.
The idea of giving surprise presentations to the public is not new. In 2018, Luan Santana recorded six songs from the EP “Live-móvel” in several cities in Brazil, with special appearances such as Jorge & Mateus, Simone & Simaria and MC Kekel. The singer arrived without warning in a box truck, recording the movement of people running to watch.
In the same year, Marilia Mendonça started the “All corners” project. In it, the singer herself distributed flyers on the day of the show informing fans about the performance. In 2019, a Globoplay documentary was released that recorded the behind-the-scenes of the project.
