A man was arrested in the city of Nossa Senhora do Socorro, in Sergipe, after throwing a sound device at military police officers who were responding to a report of loud sound.
The action took place after a series of complaints about the disturbance of other people’s peace in the Cajueiro subdivision, located in the Marcos Freire II complex.
According to the police, at the scene, the team found that the volume of the sound was above that permitted by law and informed the man that the sound device would be collected. He then insulted and swore at the police officers.
Also according to the Sergipe Military Police (PMSE) report, “very excited, [o homem] threw the equipment at the agents” who responded to the incident.
The offender was also arrested for assault and disrespecting the police officers who were responding to the incident and taken to the nearest police station. The complaint was answered by the 5th PMSE battalion on Sunday (12).
