A man, who did not have a disclosed identity, pretended to be a pilot of Gol airline and asked to enter the command booth during a blue flight. As determined by CNN the company’s commissioners denied access.
The situation took place on February 24 on flight AD6035, which originated Porto Alegre (RS) to São Paulo (SP).
According to Azul, the passenger embarked using a regular ticket, but identified himself as a pilot and asked to enter the command booth. The aircraft crew was surprised by his behavior and acted preventively, denying his access to the site.
After September 11 attacks on the twin towers, most countries implemented safety measures that restrict or prohibit passengers in the command booth during a flight.
Sought by the report, Gol, the airline of which the man pretended to be a pilot, said that any event outside the operational routine is evaluated and communicated internally.
