A 59 -year -old man was arrested at dawn on Sunday (20) after running over and killing his own companion in the northern part of São Paulo.
In addition to the victim, the man’s stepdaughter and her boyfriend were also hit. The case happened at Avenida Cabo Adão Pereira, in Pirituba.
According to information from the police report, the victim’s daughter reported to the police that the three were in a bar when the stepfather arrived and told them to go to another establishment, located in the parish of Ó.
Along the way, the couple had a discussion motivated by jealousy, and at one point the man stopped the van he drove and ordered the three to leave the vehicle. Subsequently, the perpetrator went out, returned to the scene and ran over the trio.
After the crime, he fled the scene, but was arrested by PM hours later, and continues available to the court.
The victim, identified as 51 -year -old Rosângela Silva Varjão, suffered several injuries and was even rescued to the Brasilândia Hospital, but did not resist and died.
Rosângela’s daughter suffered some leg abrasions, while her boyfriend had a fracture. Both received medical attention and are doing well.
The case was recorded as femicide and double attempted murder.
