Man is shot by security after fight in the parking lot of Solomon's Temple, in SP

A man was shot this Wednesday afternoon (31), in the parking lot of the Temple of Solomon, belonging to the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, located in the Brás neighborhood, central region of São Paulo.

According to the Military Police, at around 3:30 pm, the individual who was shot had previously tried to attack the church's outsourced employee who reacted to the approach by trying to defend himself and shot the subject.

In a statement, the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat reported that the Fire Department provided first aid to the victim and then took him to Salvalus Hospital, in Mooca.

The victim's health status was not reported.

Wanted by CNN , the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, owner of Solomon's Temple, confirmed what happened. In a statement, the church reported that the man was altered and that he acted violently.

According to the church, he was taken to the Temple parking lot to calm down, but then he became even more violent and attacked the institution's security guard. To contain him, the security guard fired.

The church also guaranteed that everyone involved attended a police station.

Universal also announced, in a statement, that the family of the boy who was shot is also being accompanied by the Church and that the institution remains at the disposal of the authorities.

The case was registered in the area of ​​the 12th Police District – Pari.
