The Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF) rescued a man who spent three days in private prison in Ceilândia (DF). The individual was found while agents were patrolling a recycling warehouse.
The team from the 10th Police Battalion was investigating a complaint about the possible existence of a stolen vehicle at the warehouse address when, around noon, they located the GM/Corsa vehicle, the subject of the complaint. At the scene, a woman claimed to have bought the car for R$3,500.
However, the police found a man chained by his legs to a pillar at the scene. He told the police that he had been in prison for three days because had stolen ten reais from the owner of the warehouse a fact confirmed by her and another person present at the scene.
Chained, the man stated that he only received water during the three days, in addition to being attacked by those responsible for the warehouse during that period.
However, after consulting police systems, the team found that the chained man was a fugitive from justice , wanted for the crime of robbery. Thus, everyone involved was arrested and taken to the 15th Police Station of Ceilândia.
During searches at the location, police found fifteen cell phones and R$2,500 in cash.
