A 33 -year -old man was arrested in the act after chase the former partner, cause a traffic accident and cause confusion inside the police station on the afternoon of last Wednesday (23) in Xanxerê, interior of Santa Catarina.
According to the Civil Police, the individual had been chasing the 32-year-old former partner since the end of the relationship and had threatened her death with a firearm the previous Saturday (19).
On Wednesday (23), he chased by car the vehicle in which the woman was with her current boyfriend, colliding with her car and other nearby vehicles on public roads, causing a keen.
The former partner sought the police station to register a police report, accompanied by her boyfriend. Shortly thereafter, the perpetrator arrived at the scene and started a body fight with the man.
Faced with the aggression, a civil police officer gave the perpetrator a voice of arrest, who resisted and had to be contained with the use of force due to his altered state. The victim requested urgent protective measures.
The man was sent to the Xanxerê Regional Prison. The case, recorded as persecution in the context of domestic violence, resistance and bodily injury, will continue under investigation by the Child, Adolescent, Woman and Elderly (DPCAMI) Police Station of Xanxerê.
