A man was arrested this Friday (21), in Brasilândia, North Zone of São Paulo, after stealing a luxury car and taking the couple who were in the vehicle hostage. After 3 hours of negotiation, the police managed to convince the criminal to release the victims, who were not injured. He then surrendered.
To assist in the negotiations, the Military Police (PM) had the presence of the criminal’s girlfriend, in a secure perimeter, to help convince the hostages to be released.

The first victim was released by the criminal around 9:54 am (Brasilia time), followed by the second hostage about 5 minutes later.
