Madonna starts show in Copacabana with “Nothing Really Matters”

O Madonna show on Copacabana beach started with “Nothing Really Matters” on Saturday night (4). The free presentation, open to the public, closes the “The Celebration Tour” which marks the artist’s 40-year career.

The singer took the stage at around 10:45 pm, coming from a catwalk straight from the Copabana Palace hotel.

In addition to being the last date of the tour, the Copacabana show will also have other special features.

The tour began in London, England, in October 2023. Madonna visited 15 countries in North America and Europe, with 81 shows.

With a show in Mexico, the performance in Rio de Janeiro will be the queen of pop's only other date in Latin America.

With 14 albums released over 40 years, Madonna has had a career of hits, successes and some of the songs that most marked the global pop industry.

With musical direction by Stuart Price and general direction by Jamie King, the show shows Madonna's trajectory through some of her best-known songs.

Fans can expect to hear live tracks like “Like A Prayer “, “La Isla Bonita “, “Hung Up “, “Human Nature ” It is “Vogue “. For those hoping to hear “Like A Virgin”, bad news: the song was not seen in the setlists of the other shows on the tour.
