Not long before the presentation of Madonna in Brazil! Next Saturday (4), the Queen of Pop will perform on Copacabana beach, in Rio de Janeiro and close the “The Celebration Tour” a tour that celebrates his 40-year career.
Lasting two hours, his performance is scheduled to start at 9:45 pm and should feature his biggest hits. One of the songs that should be presented to Brazilian fans is “Hung Up” released in 2005 as a tribute to disco and pop music from the 1970s and 1980s.
Present on the album “Confessions On A Dancefloor”, the song contains chords from the track “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” by the Swedish group ABBA, who granted authorization for its use in the Queen of Pop's single.
In addition to Madonna, who stretches and dances alone, other dancers appear in the song's music video, which is the singer's second most watched clip on her YouTube channel. On Spotify, the song is the 3rd most popular with more than 418 million reproductions.
In addition to Madonna, the free show in Copacabana should feature, from 7pm onwards, some DJs who will perform opening sets. At 8pm, American DJ Diplo will be in charge of the show that will precede the vocal performance of “Vogue” and “Like A Prayer”.
The event will be broadcast live on TV Globo, Globoplay and Multishow. For more information about coverage, click here.
