Madonna has 8 songs with Latin American and Caribbean artists; know more

The American singer Madonna , 65, has released songs in partnership with several artists in his 40-year career. Among them, at least eight were singers from Latin America and the Caribbean .

Names like Ricky Martin from Puerto Rico; Maluma , from Colombia; and the Brazilian Anita are part of the list.

The recording of the song “Faz Gostoso”, with Anitta, even led fans to speculate about the funk singer's possible participation in the last show of Madonna's 40th anniversary tour, in Rio de Janeiro. However, so far there is no confirmation.

Recently, Madonna hosted Ricky Martin at one of her shows in Miami. He was invited on stage during the performance of the song “Vogue”, but they did not sing the song they released together in 1999.

Madonna is in the penultimate week of her “Celebration Tour” and will perform three shows in Mexico. The following week, on May 4th, she will come to Brazil for the final show.

Madonna feat. Tokischa – “Hung Up on Tokischa” (2022)

Madonna and Dominican rapper Tokischa, 28, began appearing together in 2022. At the time, they jointly released a new version of Madonna's song “Hung Up”, complete with a music video and scenes in which they kiss.

And in January of this year, Tokischa took the stage at the queen of pop's concert in New York — when they kissed again.

Madonna feat. Maluma – “Medellín” (2019)

Madonna's 2019 album “Madame X” has 13 songs, five of which were recorded in partnership with other artists. Among them, two with Maluma and one with Anitta.

The first song with Maluma was “Medellín”, which opens the album and became its first single, complete with music videos and live duo performances.

Madonna feat. Maluma – “Bitch I'm Loca” (2019)

The eleventh song from “Madame X” was also released with Maluma, but did not become a single.

Madonna feat. Anitta – “Faz Gostoso” (2019)

Singing in Portuguese with a Lusitanian accent, Madonna teamed up with Anitta from Rio to release her version of the song “Faz Gostoso”.

The song is a re-recording of Portuguese hit of the same name by Portuguese-Brazilian singer Blaya.

Anitta and Madonna also did not record a music video for the song.

Madonna feat. MIA and Nicki Minaj – “Give Me All Your Luvin'” (2012)

Born in the Caribbean country of Trinidad and Tobago, Nicki Minaj made her first musical partnership with Madonna in 2012, on the song “Give Me All Your Luvin'”.

She also participated in the Madonna's halftime performance at the Superbowl that year.

Madonna feat. Nicki Minaj – “I Don’t Give A” (2012)

On the same album as the song “Give Me All Your Luvin'”, “MDNA”, Nicki Minaj made another appearance, in the song “I Don't Give A”. In the lyrics, she sings that “there is only one queen, and that is Madonna”.

The song was not chosen as a single and there was also no music video for it.

Madonna feat. Nicki Minaj – “Bitch I'm Madonna” (2015)

Soon after, in 2015, Nicki Minaj returned to recording in partnership with Madonna.

This time, the queen of pop released one of her most memorable songs in recent years, “Bitch I'm Madonna”, in which she sings about “going all out or going home”.

The music video also features appearances by Miley Cyrus, Beyoncé and Katy Perry.

Ricky Martin feat. Madonna – “Be Careful (Não Mi Corazón)” (1999)

Unlike the previous ones, Madonna's partnership with Ricky Martin was not on one of her songs, but on an album by the singer from 1999.
