Luxury dog-friendly airline expands to five new destinations

A new airline offering a luxury experience for dogs announced on Wednesday (12) that it was expanding its airline network.

BARK Air said it will now offer domestic and international services to five new destinations: Paris, France; Chicago, Illinois; San Francisco/San José, California; Phoenix, Arizona; and Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The company will also offer seven new routes.

The announcement is in addition to current destinations of New York, Los Angeles and London.

BARK Air took off on its inaugural flight on May 23, 2024.

The airline claims to take the typical first class experience of a human, and repurpose the same standards for dogs.

The dogs have quick check-ins and, once on board, they can drink “champagne” and even have a doggy spa experience.

Flights for the new routes are available to book at DogsFlyFirst.com and will begin in October.
