«Luna Park»: the new Italian series from Netflix arrives on September 30th

Two intertwining lives, two destinies that seem to be the polar opposite but which, in reality, are linked by a common, unpredictable thread. Luna Park, the new Netflix original series coming September 30th, written by Isabella Aguilar and directed by Leonardo D’Agostini and Anna Negri, tells of this: the relationship between two girls, Nora, a young carousel played by Simona Tabasco, very popular among the Raiuno audience for having taken part in DOC – In your hands it’s at The bastards of Pizzofalcone, and Rosa, scion of a family from Rome well interpreted by the rookie Lia Grieco.

The series, produced by Fandango, will tell the roots of their bond but, even more, the confrontation between two families who, between intrigues and secrets, will try to find a meeting point in the evocative setting of the Rome of the Sixties. The expectations are very high and the cast is very rich, ranging from Tommaso Ragno in the role of Antonio, Nora’s father, a Ludovica Martino (SHAME Italy) in that of his mother Stella; from Guglielmo Poggi (The all-rounder) in the role of Giggi, Rosa’s brother, a Paolo Calabresi in those of his father Tullio.

Together with the interpreters of the two families, that of the Marini and the Gabrielli, however, the adventures of the Baldi, composed by Lando, played by Michele Bevilacqua (Don Matteo), Doriana, who has the face of Lorenza Guess (Forever Young), and their two sons, Matteo, played by Edoardo Coen, and, Simone from Alessio Lapice (The First King). On paper, Luna Park has all the credentials to become a successful series and, at this point, all that remains is to wait to find out if the promise will be kept.
